- Brownell B-50 Dacron waxed bowstring material is a polyester composition that is ideal for older recurve bows and those who want a comfortable feeling shot. Dacron is especially known for its durability, consistency, and quality. If you are unsure if your limb tips are reinforced, it is always recommended you use B-50 Dacron.
